APJ Abdul Kalaam to be in Bollywood
Bollywood has done exceptionally well by signing none other then our former president Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam in a film called Mein Kalam Hoon.
Dr Kalaam who earned a title “Missile Man of India” is an aeronautical engineer and a scientist who worked out India’s entry to ballistic missiles and space rocket technology. The film is directed by Madhav Pandeya and produced by SMILE production. A source revealed that Dr. Kalam agreed to work on this project as he is fond of kids and it was a great opportunity to catch up some time working with them.
The story is very much inspired by Dr. Kalaam’s belief, “Everyone is free to dream , so dream big. Alongside Dr. Kalaam would be Bollywood baddie Gulshan Grover with a French actress Sophie Brosstel. In brief its a story in Rajasthan about a boy who in inspired by the President and dreams big.
Gulshan Grover said, “In order to add the real touch to the film we have picked up a boy from the slums Rajasthan as they wanted someone who has lived that life. The training is on for the young guy. Brosstel on the other hand plays a characted who comes to India as a tourist and falls in love with Gulshan, and finds happiness of her life.
The movie will be premiered at Cannes Film Festival.
Earlier, Bina Kak, Tourism Minister of Rajasthan from the Congress party made an entry into the Bollywood with the movie ‘Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya’ with Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif & Sushmita Sen in lead roles.
