Shahrukh Khan threw a mega bash for the Hollywood celebrity Gerard Butler at his home ‘Mannat’ in Mumbai which saw a lot of Bollywood celebrities pouring in. The most important guest who joined in the party was Aamir’s nephew Imraan Khan with girlfriend Avantikaa. Amrita Arora was also spotted at the party with husband Shakeel Ladak. Amongst others were Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal & Mehr Jessia, Ashutosh Gowarikar, Dino Morea, Sanjay Kapoor, Mushtaq Sheikh & Bunty Walia. It seems that Shahrukh is trying to patch it up in one go with lots of people.
Gerard had come to India on April 21 and left for Jaipur as soon as he landed in Delhi where Priyanka Chopra is shooting for Ashutosh Gowarikar’s ‘What’s Your Rashee?’. Gerard went to the sets of the film in Hotel Shiv Vilas Palace in the afternoon where he spent time with Ashutosh & Hurman Baweja. Gerard has also visited the Taj Mahal & Goa in this trip to India. He has also been to Jodhpur & Udaipur.
The meeting of Gerard Butler & Priyanka Chopra has attracted attention & all sorts of controversies. Priyanka is known to have hosted a party in honour of Gerard at her new pad – Raj Classic in Versova, Mumbai. Gerard is known to have kneeled down & proposed to Priyanka saying ‘Will you marry me?’ while she was not paying any heed to him. “I’d love to date an Indian girl.” When asked about his friendship with Chopra, he said, “I would’ve dated her but she has a boyfriend.” ‘She is just not interested to be Mrs Butler’, said an insider.

The guest list at Priyanka’s party were Shah Rukh & Ghauri, Hrithik & Suzanne, Karan Johar, Deepika Padukone & Ranbir Kapoor, Avantika & Imran Khan, Shrish Kunder & Farah Khan, Arjun Rampal & Meher Jessia, Sanjay Kapoor & Mahip, Farhan Akhtar & Adhuna, Kangana Ranaut and Ritesh Sidhwani. The interiors of Priyanka’s new house are done by Suzanne Roshan, who looked much elated with her work & so was hubby Hrithik Roshan.
Gerard Butler spent a day with the star cast of Slumdog Millionaire on Saturday. He had met them while on Oscars.
