Bollywood on the target of underworld?
We had heard so many things about the Bollywood and the Underworld link ups. There have been some instances where Underworld has threatened Bollywood personalities and even attemped to kill them. Recently there is another name been added to that list of victims, Ronnie Screwala top notch of UTV has been targeted by the Underworld.
It was on July 11, six people entered the premises of UTV and asked questions as to where Ronnie Screwala is? This incident reminds us the recent attack on Ronnie. The people who barged in to the UTV office have been alleged as the Pujari associates. Pujari gang has beem in search for various extotion cases especially in Bangalore. Pujari is chasing Ronnie for his support to Dawood.
Lets take you through the memory lane to recall some of the stars who were threatened by the Underworld.
Aishwarya Bachchan – She never received the threatning call personally however during her split with Salman Khan, Salman by referring to the underworld don as bhai made it clear that he is in contact with the underworld. With the Central forensic reports proving that it was their respective voices and nothing fake. One can easily make out that Salman has underworld connections.
Mahesh Bhatt – The reports claimed that an unknown gunman entered his office premise at Juhu. Not only this he also fired a couple of rounds after he was told that Bhatt was not in. Ravi Pujari was the suspect in the case, as he happened to enter the Bhatt’s premises. Ashok Pandit also received a threatning call from Pujari which was meant for Bhatt.
Preity Zinta - The other celebrity in the list is Preity and she does not deny the claims of being called by Underworld during the Bharat Shah Case. She said that while the shooting of Chori Chori Chupke Chupke in the year 2000 that she got an extortion call referring to An Alia of Bhai for a staggering amount of 50 lakhs.
Rakesh Roshan – He not only got calls but also personally experienced the terror of the Underworld. He was being shot at while he was leaving from his office on January 21, 2000. He had a narrow escape as he was hit in the left arm and went a surgery. It didn’t stop, Roshan filed a case but he continued to get extortion calls from the underworld. the Maharashtra CM then Chhagan Bhujbal had suspected the involvement of Abu Salem under the leadership of Dawood. Another instance has been during the shooting of Krrish, Hrithik Roshan was also on target.
